DESCRIPTION

In the beginning, Mother Earth and Father Moon created gods to rule over the lands they have made. Their responsibility was to watch over the humans, for they were weak and foolish creatures. The Evils that were prophesized to wreck the newly created world and those who inhabit it were locked away in a deep vase and entrusted to the Greeks. When it was opened by a human girl named Pandora, the world transformed into a cruel place.

As a result of this, the gods talked among themselves and decided that they must take young heroes to hunt the Evils down. Their own children, demigods who have strength to show, were taken up for the difficult task.

Fast forward a thousand years.

Earth has lived in centuries of peace, thanks to the long war against the Evils. However, because of Loki, the trickster god, the vase containing the beasts has been opened again. You are now appointed as a Venator/Venatrix by the gods of your land, just like your ancestors were. You are to catch the Evils and put them back where they came from, but how can you do that with very limited knowledge?

You will be put to the test against others who are also chosen. Will you be brought to pride and victory, or will death await you in the newly changed world?

Pithos is an educational trivia board game for two to six players. In Pithos, each player scores points by identifying the supernatural, and at the same time try to survive long enough to finish the game.
